Corsodyl 1% w/w dental gel is used as a short-term intensive treatment for early signs of gum disease
- It contains chlorhexidine digluconate, which is clinically proven to be effective against bleeding gums, gum irritation and gum inflammation.
- Can be used as an aid to promote gum healing after dental surgery.
- Used as an aid to manage oral thrush.
- Can be used as an aid to heal recurring mouth ulcers or help to manage denture sores.

Active Ingredients: Chlorhexidine Digluconate 1% w/w
Also contains: Hydroxypropylcellulose, Macrogolglycerol Hydroxystearate, Sodium acetate, Levomenthol, Peppermint Oil, Isopropyl alcohol and water.
Macrogolglycerol hydroxystearate may cause skin reactions.

Directions
The first thing to do if you notice a sign of gum disease is to talk to your dentist. Corsodyl 1% w/w Dental Gel is an effective short term treatment for gum problems. Use as directed on the product label.
For gum disease: Brush your teeth for at least one minute once or twice daily using 2cm of gel. Continue the treatment for about a month or as recommended by your dentist.
For mouth ulcers or oral thrush: Apply gel directly to the sore areas using your finger top or a cotton bud once or twice daily for at least one minute. Continue use for 2 days after healing has occurred.
For denture sore mouth: Thoroughly brush all over dentures with 2.5 cm of gel on a moistened toothbrush, once or twice daily for about one month.
After dental surgery or tooth decay: Use as directed by your dentist.
